Poonch Boy Plays His First Match In Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy | Pir Panjal Post

Poonch: Nawaz Ul Munir Rather, a resident of village Chela Dhangri, Tehsil Mandi, District Poonch, has been selected in playing eleven for the famous Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, to be played at Andhra Pradesh, India.



The participation of Nawaz Rather, in such a prestigious cricket tournament, wherein 27 teams from across the country are going to lock heads, will encourage more talented cricketers from Poonch to pursue cricket. 

Nawaz, who is batsman and wicket keeper from Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), is a madarsa pass out and a Hafiz e Quran.

Today on February 28, 2109, his team played first match with Manipur and won it as well.
