Poonch: A movie screening event was held in the Department of Geography, Shri Krishan Chander Government Degree College Poonch, on September 21, 2022 on rural urban migration in India, for the students of semester V. A brief discussion followed at the end of the event wherein different students participated and shared their opinions and ideas on the subject with the teachers of the Department.
While talking to media Ms. Geetu Sharma, Lecturer in Geography emphasized the role of audio visual mode in learning Geography. Ms. Sonika Sudan, Lecturer in Geography, moderated the question answer session after the movie was screened.
Dr Mujahid Mughal, Head Department of Geography, interacted with the students at the culmination of event and appreciated them for participating in huge numbers and maintaining discipline during the event. He congratulated teaching and supporting staff of the Department for playing respective roles in carrying out such academic activities.
