Department of Computer Applications SKC Government Degree College Poonch organized seminar on “Cyber Laws and its Acts” under Cyber Jaagrookta Programme on 29th of November, 2022.
Dr. Riaz Ahmed convener of the programme & Head Department of Computer Applications SKC GDC Poonch welcomed the audience. He elaborated the importance of such type of programmes organized under Cyber Jaagrookta Divas. He also explained the importance of Cyber Laws of India in present era of digital technology.
Dr. Rani Mughal Head Department of Botany & vice Principal SKC Government Degree College Poonch in her presidential address discussed about the Cyber crimes and its preventive measures. She suggested the female students to be aware of the cyber crimes and cyber criminals by giving a slogan “Prevention is better than Cure”. She also appreciated the organizers for conducting such type of event to provide awareness on the said topic.
Three students of UG Sem-1st namely Muskan Sharma, Iram Zehra &Ajaz Ahmed presented talks on cyber crimes and cyber laws.
Dr. Tariq Hussain Sheikh Organizer of the said parogramme & Faculty of Computer Applications SKC GDC Poonch presented Expert talk on “Cyber Laws & its Acts”. He highlighted the different areas of cyber laws by elaborating The IT Act, 2000. He further explained different Sections of IT Act, 2000 like Section 65, Section 66, Section 67, Section 68, Section 69, Section 70 etc.
Dr. Zaker Hussain Kalis, Prof. Tehseen Abass, Dr. Mujahid Ul Islam, Prof. Massod Ahmed,Dr.Zeeba & Dr. Sanmeet Kour were also presented on the occasion.
Miss Mussarat Nayeem student UG Semester-1st conducted the proceedings of the programme.
The programme ended with the vote of thanks by Dr. Riaz Ahmed HOD Computer Applications SKC GDC Poonch.
