A monthly meeting of Multilingual Literary Society was organized today on April 01, 2018 in Allama Anwar Shah Kashmiri Academy. Dr. Aziz Chowhan presided over the meeting and Hafiz Shahzad Anwari was the guest for the occasion. Zia Saddam Hussain, a student of B.A VI, Mujahid Mughal Assistant Professor, GDC Poonch and Dr. Amjad Ali Babar Assistant Professor, GDC Poonch recited their poetry. All the participants discussed the future prospects of the society.
It was resolved that new artists will be welcomed into the Society and an attempt will be made to bring to the fore the budding talent of Poonch district.
It was further resolved that the society will celebrate Iqbal Day on the birthday of Dr. Mohd Iqbal, the renowned Urdu poet.
The occasion was also graced by Dr. Shokat, Shahid Zafar, Razaq Choudhary, Assistant Professors GDC Poonch, Master Imtiaz Mughal, Mohtashim Ehtasham, Sadeeq Ahmed Sadeeqi and others.
