Poonch: A seminar on Agriculture of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh was organized by the department of Geography on August 10, 2022 wherein 10 participants namely Shazia kouser, Kavleen kour, and Shaista, Shahbaz, Zohra Khanam, Ruksana Kouser, Hafza gulzar, Mohd wasim, Sumiya parveen and Sobia khursheed.
The seminar was moderated by Shazia Kouser , a student of semester II, Department of Geography, SKC GDC Poonch.
Talking to Pir Panjal Post Dr Mr Yograj Singh, Lecturer in Geography said that "such activities like seminars and discussions are an integral part of the effective teaching learning process and it's always good for the students as it contributes to the overall personality development. It instills confidence and improves communication skills of the students".
The seminar was also graced by the presence of teaching and non teaching faculty of the Department of Geography Shri Krishan Chander Government Degree Poonch including Dr Mujahid Mughal, Assistant Professor of Geography, and Prof Khadam Hussain, Coordinator IQAC and HOD Geography.
Prof Khadam Hussain interacted with the students at the end of seminar regarding their presentations and appreciated the faculty and students for conducting such academic activities.
