Poonch: Adalat Khan, 27, a teacher at Govt Middle School Moori Lasana, was conferred with National Innovative Teacher Award (NITA) by MHRD, along with 900 teachers from across the country.
The two days programme was held at Dogra Hall, IIT Delhi, with effect from 01-03-2020. The conference was organized by Sri Aurobindo Society and HDFC Bank, to acknowledge the best practices and innovation in teaching-learning methods.
" I dwelled on the ideas of zero inverstmet (in terms of money) and maximum results in the classroom as expected from any teacher" expressed Adalat Khan while talking to the Pir Panjal Post. He dedicated this award to the teaching fraternity of J&K after acknowledging their valueable contributions, even in the very difficult circumstances.
"I am thankful to my teachers, and the teaching fraternity as whole for making world a better place" he added.
The most effective and best practices developed by the awardees have also been published in "Innovations Handbook" .
