Rahat Kazmi of Poonch Shines Again Among The International Audience | Pir Panjal Post

Rahat Kazmi, a resident of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, is known for his known for his films like Identity Card, Mantostaan and Lihaaf has once again found a place among the international audience.



Kazmi who belongs to the Surankote tehsil of Poonch District has come up with his new project, '2 Band Radio'.
The film which has been written by Kazmi and Shakti Singh has been directed by Saki Shah. 

The film which is set in the ’1970s in a Himalayan village where people have never seen a radio ever and how first radio in the village becomes the reason for a big mess, is a satirical drama.



Pradhuman Singh, the 'Tere Bin Laden' fame actor shall be seen in the lead role in the film along with Neelu Dogra and Jitendra Rai.

Rahat Kazmi also appears in supporting role with Ritu Rajput, Zahid Qureshi and Pankaj Kanta.

Saki Shah the director of the film says:

The movie had been selected for the UK Asian Film Festival which puts the Kazmi again among the international audience. 


The movie will be released in 2019 only.
