Rajouri: J&K Human Development Foundation (Regd.) Rajouri extended cordial thanks to the District Administration Rajouri for conducting a public meeting at Ghambir Mughlan to discuss the development related issues and instant redressal of several grievances. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary (IAS).
Sayeed Mughal, Chairman J&K Human Development Foundation presented the memorandum containing the collective demands of the area including repairing and maintenance of road from Galuti to Gala, Staff in PHC, Staff in Naibat, restart of construction of Dak-Bungalow, J&K Bank Branch along with ATM, power related issues, compound wall of Govt. Higher Secondary School Ghambir Mughlan and Govt. High School Hattan Sarri, CD Block requested to be operational, BPL category issue, Construction of Huts and TRCs at Hatta Sarri, Dori Mall, Pir Kaleva, Installation of Mobile Towers of BSNL, Airtel, water hand pump, execution of works on new roads, SOG post should be converted to Police Thana and other important issues.
Other members of JKHDF also extended their gratitude towards District Administration for paying heeds to one of the most neglected areas of the district. They also expressed their high hopes with Deputy Commissioner.
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary and Sayeed Mughal also handed over the cheques of Rs. 75000/- as financial assistance to the father of a patient who succumbed to cancer. On the request of Sayeed Mughal Chairman JKHDF, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri sanctioned and released an amount of Rs. 50,000 as financial assitance. An amount of Rs. 25,000 was also donated by the JKHDF. Sayeed Mughal also thanked all those who had contributed to this noble cause.
Sayeed Mughal thanked the Deputy Commissioner for his positive response to the public grievances and his assurance for early redressal of all the issues placed before him.
