Cry of a Girl

Modern world is so bad,
Molestations, rapes are now a fad.
A girl questions, am I safe?
Tell me dad , how can I be brave ?

At night I can’t walk on the road ,
Can be pissed like a nocturnal toad.
Molestors come in succession ,
Vulgar comments have become a fashion .

Hunting eyes stare at me ,
Look straight and try to flee .
Forestall your sons not to flatter ,
My clothes don’t decide my character .

Tell me dad , isn’t it an offence ,
I can’t cross my house’s fence .
A girl questions , am I safe?
Tell me dad , how can I be brave?
