Dr Liaqat Jafri, a poet from Poonch will be awarded “Shaheed Lala Jagat Narayan Award 2017” for his contribution to Urdu literature on October 15 at Jalandhar, Punjab. Khushbir Singh Shad, Rajinder Nath Rehbar, Rahbar Tabaani, Prem Kumar Nazar, Dr Naresh Shad and Prof Mahshar Naqvi are some of the other recipients of this award.
